Leaders
Leadership is not about position. It’s about the ability to influence, organise, and take action – especially in contexts where inequality and exclusion are the norm. That’s why our LEADERS programme invests in people who rarely have access to formal training, mentorship, or opportunities to lead. We focus on individuals from marginalised communities: LGBT+ youth, Roma women, grassroots activists, and others who bring lived experience but lack support structures.
Through structured, practical education, we help future leaders develop essential skills that are often overlooked – such as
- Public speaking
- Strategic thinking
- Advocacy
- Conflict management
- Team collaboration
Our training avoids theory and centres on real-life challenges, peer learning, and mentorship by experienced civic actors. The goal is not to “train professionals,” but to build authentic, capable voices that can lead movements, influence institutions, and mobilise communities.
We also prioritise sustainability: participants in our programmes are encouraged to initiate their own projects, form networks, and apply what they’ve learned in their local environments.
In doing so, we support the creation of a new generation of leaders — credible, courageous, and committed to inclusion and justice.
